This policy covers the iPhone app Contacts to Excel and this website. The short version: nothing you put into either of them is collected, transmitted or stored by us, because neither has anywhere to send it.

The app

Contacts. When you allow it, the app reads your address book to build the spreadsheet you asked for. Reading happens on your iPhone, the file is written on your iPhone, and it goes only where you send it with the system share sheet. The app contains no networking code of its own, which you can verify by turning on airplane mode and exporting anyway.

Analytics. There are none. The app includes no analytics, advertising, attribution or crash-reporting SDK of any kind. We see only the aggregate figures Apple shows every developer in App Store Connect: downloads and sales. Those are Apple's measurements, not ours, and they identify nobody.

The purchase. The one-time unlock is an in-app purchase processed by Apple. Apple handles the payment; we never see your card, your name or your Apple Account. The only thing the app asks the system is whether this device has the unlock.

Notes. The app deliberately does not read the notes field of your contacts.

This website

The converter on the home page runs entirely in your browser. A .vcf file you drop on it is read by the browser's own file reader and converted by a script that is served to you and runs on your machine; the result is handed straight back as a download. The file is never uploaded, and the page has no analytics, no cookies, no tracking pixels, and no third-party embeds.

The site is served over HTTPS by a plain web server. Like every web server, it writes standard access logs with the requesting IP address, the page requested and a timestamp. Those logs exist to keep the server running and are not used to profile anyone. The contents of your contacts file are never in them, because the file is never sent.

Children

The app is a utility for exporting your own address book and is not directed at children. Since nothing is collected, nothing about a child is collected either.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that meant data was being collected would be announced in the app's release notes, not slipped in here.
